TS2010 powers down computer

May I just chime in with the fact that all ATI graphics cards have the option to install the Catalyst Control centre which does give you the option of taking manual control of your GPU fan and will also show the temp/s.

It gets hot in Sydney in summer and I may even consider putting an additional cool air supply to my custom towers base by installing a dedicated, (screened), vent from under the house where the coolest air is.
I do believe I should be able to run my pc at full gaming throttle without the use of air conditioning. Yes, it would mean boring a hole in the floor. But I'm fine with that. It IS my floor lol.

I hope you put a screen over your hole in the floor. You don't want big spiders and snakes taking a nap inside your house or your computer!

These temps still sound really high. My ATI card runs in the high 40s to low 50s C even without AC in my computer room. I finally gave in and installed one last summer because I couldn't breath in there, but the video card was still only in the low 50s when I did that. I do like the manual fan control. When I want to cool my card down, I run the fan for a minute or so, and the temps hit the lower end of the temp range.
