TS2010 Crash with Portals?

The title pretty much sums it up. I've made a passenger route (About 8 or 10 stops, and about 2-3 baseboards apart each). I have 4 portals (2 on each end) one is sending trains north, and one south and the opposing 2 are receiving the trains. If I am only sending trains north bound on my route, it will run all day, no issues. However, If I am sending south, it seems somewhere around the time the first train gets to the receiving portal, the game crashes to desktop. Im going to do some more tests, but this seems to be whats happening. Im running the Schedule Library and 2 Central portal controls to organize it all. I have tried running 1 central portal, same issue as well. Trains are spaced out 8-10 minutes apart. Any ideas? Thanks guys!
 
I believe it was just "Portal". How do I know what Layer they are on? The layer thing is new to me now in TS2010. I dont believe they were in 2006 which is where Im coming from.
 
I verified they are on the Route layer as well... I also just tested, if i reverse the scenario from earlier, (Disable trains running to the north, it will work). Whats also weird, is I have other statically placed trains that get accepted just fine in to the portal. Note: There are only about 8 trains currently running when the game crashes.
 
Update: So, when I re-added the extra Central portal control for the South to northbound trains, I didnt change the times, so they were spawning at the 15 minute intervals - the route has run for about 45 -50 minutes without crashing. Normally this is about the time it would crash. I changed the times back to the 8 minute intervals (With 2 min fluctuation). Well see if the route continues to run.
 
Still crashing....upped the timer between trains as well. I read in that other post, that the portal has to be fully on the baseboard...does that mean it cant span multiple baseboards?

No, it means that the portal must not hang over the edge of a baseboard. However, I have not had any trouble doing that.

Ok - Mine was oriiginally hanging off, so I added baseboards and adjusted as necessary, still crashing. I also centered the portals on a baseboard so they didnt span multiple - still crashes. Another thing Im trying now is separating the portals a bit - they were overlapping each other. If it still crashes, Im going to remove the central portal control and see what happens. I even tried the HP Portals - all with crashing. Im running out of ideas. I want to continue building my route and add scenery, but if it keeps crashing I guess theres no point.
 
Have you tried pguy's QuickPortalManagerV2 or V3? I find they work best for the way I run a route.

Im going to give them a try now...Game still crashes just before an hour in. Ive tried different placements, different portals, win xp compat mode, ts2010 compat mode ect, all crash about 45mins ish in. Is there a limit on portals? Even running the portals without a portal manager crashed the game come to think of it. I cant for the life of me figure out why.

PS.

I Tried to add Quick portal manager, however it shows red in the list. Am i missing a dependency?

Open it in explorer and then commit it without making any changes. The latest patch does some wierd things with some assets ands this is one of them. It somehow self corrects and then works fine forever more.

Just tried it....still a no go...Crashes inside of an hour still.
 
I have used the QuickPortalManagerV3 to manage a route with 9 portals for sessions lasting well over 4 hours with no problems. And I have never had a problem with hanging a portal over the edge of the baseboard.

How many portals are you runnings and how many trains do you have on the route at the same time?

I run 4 portals, 2 of which generate the trains. only about 8 trains on at the time of crash. however it seems random when the crashes happen. I've tried everything. I need to figure out why my quick portal is faulty, although it crashes without any portal manager.
 
This thing with portals being on the board is this with 09 & 10 because in 06 Marise Pass none of the portals are on the boards.
Just asking.

Also I am still having issues getting Quick Portal Manager to work. I installed all the dependency's but says 1 is unkown..? Unkown Asset: kuid:61392:4010

Ok - I got that all loaded...now..is there a manual somewhere? This looks a little confusing. How do you select multiple portals? I currently only have one portal selected, running a train every 6 minutes. Also, is there a way to randomize consists for the same day? Is there an example route I can download to see how it all works? Sorry for all the questions :/
