Beware: newbie screw-up: looking for a way out!
I am working on a small route and after several hours of editing, I created a session, added a couple of trains, and then then test drove the existing track layout. Testing went OK.
Then - WITHOUT THINKING (!) - I exited the driver (back into Surveyor) and continued adding more track, another industry, etc.
At some point when I added an additional signal, I was unable to move it along the track.
Fearing the worst, I quickly saved the route, exited Surveyor and TS2010.
Reinvoking TS2010 Surveyor on the route I had just saved, I found that all the additions I had make since the test drive were missing!
I exited Surveyor back to the main menu, and selected the saved route and the test drive session and lo-and-behold all my addition track, industry, etc were there.
So, I have - say 80% of my assets - in the Route layer and the remaining 20% in the Session layer.
Is there any way I can move these assets in the Session layer back to the route layer (where, in my opinion) they belong?
Thanks,
Wes
