TS2009 SP1 back to non-sp?

Hello;
I have been building my route in TS2009 SP1, and would like to go back to pre-sp1 so that I can use Transdem to export track splines. There was a change to the trk file with SP1, so Transdem will no longer work.

If I install a second copy of TS2009 and do not install the SP1 patch, will I be able to import my route from TS2009+SP1 to TS2009 without SP1?

I hope this isn't too confusing.

Thanks

I don't think you can install a second copy. With TRS2004 and TRS2006, when you put in the installation CD it uninstalls the existing copy before you can re-install. TS2009 may be the same.

Actually, I am able to have more than one install of TS2009. I don't have a CD, just the dl.
I put the older ver on a different disk.
However, in add/remove programs, there is only one TS2009. I believe that the second install overwrote some registry entries, but it doesn't seem to matter for TS. It will run without anything in the Windows folder, start menu, or the registry.

I was not able to bring a route from 09-SP1 to 09 without SP1. The map files are different.
So, I'm just going to have to do what I can with the roads manually until Geophil has the new version of Transdem out. Problem is, he doesn't want to rush into a new version before Auran is really finished with TS2009 WBE. They changed the files once, and who says they cannot change them again, rendering another build of Transdem useless for import/export.

I really should have stuck with TS2006. Everything was working so well.

Oh well. I'm getting pretty good at taking measurements from my Garmin GPS map and laying out the roads in TS. Tedious, time consuming, but it works... pretty well.
