There won't be as that's only half of the fix, you also need to open for edit the affected items and then commit them again. It's a graphics driver problem with some cards, 101 threads on here about how to fix it.

In order for this fix to work, you need to open the affected stuff for edit. Then, recommit it.

I'm getting a similar problem with Jointed Rail's CORP GP40-2 in TS12:

The accelerated hardware texture crompression is turned of and i've opened for edit and commited it but this problem still shows up:(

Different Problem, have you got the Train detail on Max and antialiasing on? also check you are running at the monitors native resolution for Trainz.

Oh yes it has been "invented" DDR5 is used in good Graphics cards and has been for well over 12 months. PC's are still on DDR3.

Hello guys,

Disabling hardware texture compression in CMP is essential, but reopening for edit and comitting again the broken model is not enough...
You must delete the broken model and reinstall it from the original .cdp file (after you have disabled the hardware texture compression, of course...).

It is more correct to say if it doesn't work by opening for edit and committing which has worked for many many people on this forum myself, included then you may have to delete and re-install.

Hi Malc,

The "pixel/blackness" problem probably depends on hardware configurations too...
If you want to be sure it is suggested to delete this kind of objects and reinstall them from stratch. Other kind of problems can appear later... ;)
