TS12 Problem

Hi, whenever I try to play Trainz 2012 it says invalid CD code, I tried re entering it but it still didn't work.

That error suddenly appearing after running a perfectly good game usually means an Extended Database Repair is in order. You may need to re-enter it though after the EDR.

Keep in mind that database corruption can occur if you close out the game while running or shutdown the computer too soon after exiting the game.

Instead of typing it in use the "Serial Number" link near the top of the page, copy the serial number then paste it into the game.

Hi, I can't even get into the CMP. And I tried copying and pasting the serial number and it didn't work.

Try "Options" instead of "Content" when you first start up the game. That is where the serial number goes anyway.

I have had this happen in the past.

Now be aware... this is a gamble, but it worked for me.

First uninstall TS12, if you can. If it will not uninatall, and it didn't for me,
you will need this software.

Its called ccleaner, or to computer nerds, crapcleaner.

First using WindowsExplorer, find the folder in Programs titled N3V.

Highlight that folder and delete it all. Then run CCleaner, not once, not
twice, but untill it finds nothing. Then, again using CCleaner, use the
registry option, and fix any errors you find. No need to save anything
using this option. Again, not once, not twice but several times.
When it reports no errors, run it again for safe keeping.

Then reinstall TS12 as if you've never done it before.

Hopfully this will work for you. It did for me.
