Unable To Authorize Trainz

Whenever I try to open TANE, a box pops up that says "Unable To Authorize Product". My login info is correct, and i already tried some troubleshooting and it didn't work. What do i do now, because I have too much stuff installed to delete TANE

Make sure your username and password are correct and are the same you registered the program with and have always used, and you are not putting in something new.

Check that your antivirus isn't blocking TANE.exe

Make sure TANE.exe is allowed through the firewall.

Sorry to say this, as a veteran of years of customer service and tech support, you're either typing in the wrong password or you're typing it in wrong. That's 95% likely.
Virus/firewall issues are unlikely unless you're running some crazy virus program beyond the build in stuff.
and if it was a firewall issue the firewall would prompt you to add an exception most likely.
I recommend you reset your password and try again.

Veteran here as well. Trainz exes get beaten up by all antivirus programs. Exclude that and the data folders solve that issue along with performance issues, as well as download issues from the DLS.

I'm also betting on incorrect username/password as well.

The easy way to check the password is to type the username and password in notepad and then use the link above for MyTrainz and copy and paste it there. It is your MyTrainz username and password that is needed to authenticate your copy of trainz. For most people, the forum and MyTrainz are the same. But I'm not sure that they use the same password file to authenticate users. We have seen users create a forum account and then claim they bought Trainz from the Trainz store and it won't let them login. When N3V checks they can't find a purchase under the forum username and asks for the username used to make the purchase. Often the person continues to insist that they used the forum username. But without proof of purchase, N3V will never bend the rules.

Did you have a Plus subscription that has now expired? Did you purchase Tane or get it as a free access version?

Aren't there 2 Passwords. One for the operation of the program and the other to make purchases?
Could these be confused.

I have never used more than one Trainz password. The one on my launcher(s) is the one that rules them all, products, forums, DLC, the works.
