TS12 patches

I do not like the patches and hotfixex for TS12. Before I run the punches the game run great even with the few glitches some were talking about. Now that I have downloaded and installed the patches I no longer have the built in Mohave Sub division available. I can attempt to start any of the 6 built in sessions and none of them work. When I tick on them and they try to load but none of them will start. Also the built SPsd42T loco and SPsd45 loco will not load. The CMP registers say those engines are available with no no errors. The list of available loco's in Surveyor say those engines are available put cannot put one them on a track. I would like to my Mohave Sub Divisions and SP locos back.:(

I'm guessing you installed the SP1 mega-patch then.

If so, you will have to reinstall the game to get back to build 49922.

I had a similar problem and I had installed the patches WITH my antivirus on. When I reinstalled without it on, every thing worked fine.

Good Morning TheRabbit
Did you see any errors or messages during the installation of the hotfix patches?

Can you please confirm what build number your installation of Trainz has? The build number is located on the bottom right corner of the launcher screen.

As has been mentioned above, have you tried running an extended database repair? This is achieved by double clicking on the Trainz icon, then click on 'content' to load Content Manager. Once Content Manager has loaded, click on 'file' at the top, then click on 'extended database repair'. Once the repair has completed, please try running Trainz again.

Regards

I'm also having trouble with the Mojave sessions. The session starts with the camera pointed at the world origin. No driver is selected. When scanning the map, it is apparent that no driver is in a train. On closer inspection, I find that no consist has a locomotive. Neither of the locomotives mentioned by the OP appears in the Railyard. It may have something to do with its mesh being a PM instead of an IM, but I cannot confirm that in CMP because it is one of those locked built-ins (has the DO NOT ENTER sign on it, can neither clone nor open for edit: unauthorized).

Why do some creators lock their content? Is it for copyright reasons, because they don't want people cloning and making reskins? I found a workaround, to circumvent the lock protection, you save a CDP of the locked content, then open with 2004, extract files to 2004, then reimport back to 2010 or 12 or whatever, and you will have an unlocked version that you can clone and edit.
