TS12 31688, where are display settings saved in its userdata....

Hi, does anyone know where settings like display setting and when to use DirectX or OpenGL are getting saved to. I looked into my userdata folder in settings and did not find these there. I have a peculiar issue when starting my TS12 61388, first I have to start being online, or my DRM free TS12 will not start. for the time being I can live with that and that is not presently the issue.

When TS12 first start/splash screen finally opens, it gives me a "display warnings" of incorrect display and will not open up. Every time I reset these in the splash screen's settings of TS12 to my actual screen resolution size of 1920x980 and also set this to DirectX, all is good. However, once I switch off my PC, this resets every time to 1024x786 and only to OpenGL when I restart my PC and TS12. Apparently no savings of these settings are made when resetting these before and then switching the PC off.

My screen resolution for my video card's Catalyst Control Centre is also set to 1920x980 as is in Window's Control Panel.

As said, where in any setting text file of TS12, if such exists, are the above setting changes saved? There is a "setting.txt" file in its user data but this does not reflect the display setting changes made, it records a couple of numbers in there as 1430, 890. Whatever that means, changing these to 1920, 980 does not make any sensible or visual change to TS12 when restarting TS12 before switching off the PC.

Thank you for any help and answer.

Check the file UserData\trainzoptions.txt for the correct entries. The values for -width and -height should match the setting in the option dialog.

I had this trainzoptions.txt only in my TS12's root folder, copying that into the userdata folder with the right video settings apparently solved my above issues after switching off my PC and restarting it again. Lets see what will happen tomorrow.

Thank you for your advice .
