Trying to install blender, help!

download the beta-version of TrainzMeshImporter from Auran (http://www.trainzdev.com/ -> Wiki -> Downloads, you need to be registered to access the wiki), extract the archive andd copy the file TrainzMeshImporter.exe into Blenders script folder("BLENDER_INSTALL_DIR\.blender\scripts")

I have made it to here as far as installing blender. When I try to go to the above link for the exporter and create a user I get an error "Internet explorer cannot display the webpage" Is this page still in use, or can I get the TrainzMeshImporter somewhere else? Any help would be app. as I would like to start to contribute to the DLS.

Where did you find the above link? Just so we can correct it.

well, something didnt work. Trainz is not showing in blender file/export, I guess ill try again tomorrow

If its not showing in the list of exporters it sounds like you haven't got the scripts in the right place. Have a look through here.
