Trying to download Rollins Pass 1910

I get up to 700 mb and it fails. Have to start over. 4th try now. Going to give up soon. Does anyone have another download location for all the route and related items. It seems to be around 2.6 gigabytes in size.

From where? Not the DLS as the only version I see (not 1910) is a mere 9.9MB kuid:682163:101168. D&RGW Rollins Pass.

You may want to try a download manager if downloading over a wireless connection or try a wired connection if possible. This is an issue with a wireless connection when dealing with large files.

I posted in another thread also. Got a response from TrainzItalia that they will soon break the files into smaller chunks and move them onto a new website/server. The server they use now does not support download resume.

I tried the download manager and it failed there as well.

I had the same trouble until I upgraded my Internet service. It failed every time at about the same point. Once I got 200mbps cable it came down just fine.

That sounds about right. The server for TrainzItalia closes the connection at the same time every time. If the download can be completed before the time limit then all is good.

I pay $60 per month for a 12 mbit line. The fastest I can get here in my small Kansas town is 50 mbits and that is on a good day. I should say fastest affordable speed.
