TRS2010EE Content Manager Problem

Greetings,

I seem to be at a loss as to how to access the firstclass.auran.com server from inside the Content Manager (v3.3) on my computer. I have gone to the helpdesk to no avail. Using Internet Explorer settings is the only way the computer will recognize the DLS and be able to log me in so I can download files.

Unfortunately the computer says my current speed is 0 whenever I attempt to download anything. My computer cannot seem to find the servers where the files are located from the content manager, except to say they are there.

I've turned my cable modem's firewall off. I've created a new rule in my Smart Firewall (Norton-Symantec) to allow access through the soft firewall to the FTP server.

I've run the network diagnostic with the Proxy Settings set to: Use Internet Settings. Here's what I got:

I've also tried using the: Manual Proxy settings and set them as I was instructed by Auran, and get the following Network Diagnostic Information:

As you can see, the results are far worse. The results are nearly the same for the No Proxy Server option.

What do I do? Where in IE or my Norton Smart Firewall do I go to fix this?

Thanks,

Clinton Johnson

At the risk of re-awakening a long dead thread...

We are having the same problem, we have had a few different configurations for internet at home(proxy, no proxy, local DNS and now it is just shared from a router acting as a gateway) and all of them have brought up the exact same set of errors as you were having, we are using CM 3.4, but I don't know how much difference that would make...

The punch line being, did you end up getting CM working before?

Cheers,
Rex
