TRS2006 Bookmarks -Adding and Labelling

Is there any way to add more than the standard amount of bookmarks in 2006 Surveyor

Can you label them, so they are more informative than 'Bookmark 1'?

What does a bookmark do anyway ?

Go into Surveyor and look at the menubar.

You will see 10 red or green dots. These are the bookmarks

They take you to certain parts of your routes when you assign them to particular locations.

You could use any scenery object (like trees or special marker objects), giving then a name like "BM: My Bookmark Name" in the properties window. Afterwards use the search function (CTRL-F) to search for your "bookmarks".
