Can anyone help me. i have to play with my trains again.

Cheers Steve.

When you reinstalled 04 and the service pack did you remember to disable or turn off any virus type programs?
Even just installing the service pack with the virus protection running can cause the install to become corrupt so you need to install both with the virus programs off.
I have seen reports that when unistalling and then reinstalling can cause a problem with the video start up which proceeds the loading in of 04
To solve this problem put this into the trainzoptions text doc
Exactly as shown here -Intro=disable including the -

...thanks to Robin Hoods

You beat me to it Euphod :D
Yes it is down to the fact that the program was unistalled then reinstalled.
As directed type in -Intro=disable including the - in the Trainzoptions text doc.
This can be located in the main TRS2004 program folder.
Default is My computer local drive C program files Auran TRS2004.
Just change the drive letter to the drive where you have installed 04

thanks guys, tried your fix. didnt work, error still comes up. i uninstalled and reinstalled with virus protection off, no go. any more suggestions. please help
cheers Steve

My favorite suggestion is to use a registry cleaner after uninstallion. I use Ccleaner, and have never had a problem with it.

Hi guys. i have XP. tried everything you have suggested (i have CCleaner already on PC). still wont work. i was going to purchase TRS06, but not sure to shell out the coin, incase i get same sort of problems. I would like to sort TRS04 out before i did that. Anymore suggestions out there along the winding tracks of the cyberspace railway network. The version i have is a soldout software copy and build 2370, if this helps any. Cheers Steve.
