[Trainz 2006] Crashing when saving route

Today i went on my route to modify and remove some track and after i did that, i placed an engine and a few cars to test it and when i clicked the "driver" button or whatever it's called in the top left, i got the save options blah blah blah but on the final confirmation window i clicked Save and the game froze and the screen went black. I waited a few minutes and finally got pissed enough to CTRL+ALT+DEL and force close it and an error window was already open with the following:

I've seen the kernal thing mentioned before but haven't the slightest idea what it is or how to fix it. Anyone have a solution.
