TRS 19 small city routes

So I'm new to the forums, but hey, I might find something here, so I'm looking for a route with a small city or large town and a decent-sized yard. And I want this to be a US route, regardless of whether it's the eastern US mountains or the midwest. i want to see if there is something other than coal country or other things people have been suggesting.and i do not mind fixing a route either i am sure there is a lot of route that are on here i do not know about

There are lots of routes, way too many to list here for the DLS. Among the small city routes on the Trainz Content Store are:
Harvard Subdivision - Metra Commuter
Centrella Subdivision - A bit of city to country type railroading with branches to switch.
