trqinz 2010 frame rate

Hi,i I bought the dvd, trainz 2010EE.It loaded properly,but runs very slow,almost frame by frame.I also have Trainz 2009 Wbe and it runs fine with no problems at all.Does anyone have any suggestions how to fix this problem.I am running windows xp with athlon 64bit operating system

One quick thing to check is to switch between DirectX and OpenGL in the options setup. In my case switching from one to the other made a huge difference.
