Trouble unloading/loading in sessions

I am new to Trainz and starting with 2010. I am running the coaling session in the downtown traction Company route. When I try to unload the trailers on the flats, nothing happens. I can load and empty coal cars, but not the trailers. I have a similar problem with the Farmall session in that I can't load the engines. I can load the steel.

I am operating the trains with cab control.

Any help or suggestions where I can get help would be great.
