This is a two part question:
I put an invisible junction on my track. Then added a trigger in front of that.
I want the junction to be default closed for the main track, but open when a train passes the trigger (hope this makes sense).
I added the "trigger check" and the "switch junction" (as child) to my session rules, but it does not work. Tried the "trigger rule" instead, no luck.
I must be doing something wrong here. Can anyone tell me how this is to be done right?
Part two: assuming I figure out how to make it work, this is for a session only, right? So, if someone was to just load the route, and put their "own" train on and drive, none of those rules will be present, and the main track in question will be permanently closed and derail the train, right? (in which case this is not the way I need to do this). Is there some way of applying this kind of "rules" to a route?
I might add, that the reason for all of this is to have a signal ahead of a lift bridge be RED, and only turn GREEN when a train approaches (and the bridge automatically comes down). And this with the invisible junction is the only thing I've been advised to try so far.
Hope this makes sense to you'all.
