Trigger Problem

I recently purchased TS 12 and while playing around with the Debrecen-Nyiregyhaza route for the past few days I've noticed that the gates which block access to some of the industrial sites do not open. I've opened the route in Surveyor and noticed that there are triggers on the tracks right before the gates, but some reason they do not seem to work. Does anyone have any idea why that might be? Look up the tutorals for the ATLS system in a search engine. Click the question mark in the track section in surveyor, then look at how many trigger are set up for that crossing. A four triggers system is usually used for most layouts. The reason I found why mine were not going up after the train had passed is the same channel number being used for multiple grade crossings on the map.

Thanks for the reply but I'm still confused. I didn't say anything about crossings; I was refereeing to gates (like the one to the Debrecen GOCS site) not opening when driving a train passed the trigger.

ATLS is not just control of crossings, it can be used for a multitude of different things. The gate works the same way a crossing gate works. Just treat the opening gate in the same way as a crossing set up.

I have no idea what ATLS is and shouldn't the gates already be setup to open and close?

If they are ATLS then most likely not as they are set up in a session. You should have a black and white cross nearby if its ATLS, open the properties for instructions.
