TRC System error

I recently downloaded some TRC packs, and the interlocking tower has an error and it apperently does not have the file "interlockingtower.gs" Anybody know where I can get the file?

You need to register your copy of T:ANE. You do this by clicking the MyTrainz link at the top of this page. Then look for and click the Serial Number link on the left side of the MyTrainz page. Enter your T:ANE serial number.

If you have previously done this then raise a support ticket with the help desk - link at the top of the page. Be aware that Monday is a public holiday in most Australian states so you will not get an immediate human generated response.

Well, I bought the digital copy from simulator central, sooooooo
But I can tell you, the admins authorized my product. Can I just get the link to the file or how to get it?

No serial number on a digital download so need to contact the help desk to get TANE added to the timeline, which if you are using the same username as you are using in TANE should be automatic.

The reason it does not show is because I don't run TANE on the internet. Can I get the file or do we turn this into a chat war

TANE will run on a computer that is not permanently connected to the Internet, it just needs to contact the servers once per month (or similar). This is the DRM argument that periodically flares up in these forums every now and again - I wouldn't call it a "war". There is a DRM free version but that was only available to those who were supporters of the Kickstarter project.

Regardless of whether or not you are connected to the Internet or which version you have, the T:ANE icon should appear on your timeline.

The likely cause if it cannot find that file is that you are running an old version of T:ANE - posting your build number would help (5-digit number on Launcher). I should advise you though that you may have to connect it to the Internet in order to get the relevant patch(es) if they are needed.

Hi.

InterlockingTower is a Tane base component. Downloading only the InterlockingTower file won't help as you need to have some native routines included in the Tane base for the system to work. InterlockingTower component is included in Tane only from SP1 level. And to have all the fixes for the bugs that were found during beta testing, it is better to use at least SP1 HF2. SP1 HF3 includes some performance enhancements (caching some information to avoid timeouts on big routes configuration).

Regards.
Pierre.
