TranzDEM Question

Since I have only just recently(recently being 5 minutes) registered for the TransDEM forums; I'll go ahead and ask here.

I'm running TranzDEM on a Mac utilizing CrossOver/Wine programming, and it works great. Although I do have one problem: the DEM won't export. I have the required .hgt files merged together(I'm working on a fictional rail line, using DEMs from the Balkans area, broken into about 4 or 5 separate portions). Since it's fictional, I only want the terrain. I have noticed that there is NO purple UTM Grid, and the 'View' menu is greyed out. If someone has had this same problem(on a Windows PC is okay too), or can tell me what's going on, that would be nice. I hope this has nothing to do with the Runtime(?) library stuff that comes up at the end of the TranzDEM installer?

The entire "View" menu disabled? But TransDEM displays the DEM? What does the left-most field in the status bar say? Try [Alt]+[G] or [Alt]+. (not sure about emulation on Mac for this.)

Indeed the entire view menu is disabled. I'm not at home right now, but I think if I recall correctly, it said UTM/WSG84 somethingrather. I thought it may have to do with not having raster maps; but I don't think it does. I discovered the issue when I started georeferencing and converting GE images for another project I have.

When I get home, I'm going to fiddle with it a bit.

EDIT: Okay I'm home and I've found some time to fiddle with TransDEM. I figured out why the 'View' menu was disabled, and I've been reading the tutorials all over the place; I'm working on the second project I was referring to(with the actual images as well as DEM). Everything works fine apart from converting the geo-referenced Google maps to UTM. I think it has to do with the .kml/kmz placemark files, but I place them properly in Google Earth, along the line between the two ends, and then save them(placemark(s) 1-62), and open the corresponding placemark for each map image, but I can't save(Alt+S). In the status bar, after 'converting to UTM', it looks like this:

| UTM/WGS84 | N0º 00' -0.00" E0º 00' -.00" | ? m | 31N 166021 0 | | | | | |============| | Abort |
