Transferring To Portable Hard Drive

Hi All,

I'm trying to transfer my entire TRS22 install to a portable hard drive. When I transfer the install and try to start Trainz from the portable SSD, it shows up without any of the content I downloaded, just the basic install. Is there another way I should try to move the install to the portable SSD?

TRS22 has two folders, the install folder which is installed where you asked it to be, and a data folder which is installed in the C drive by default.

You need to point TRS22 to your data folder. "Trainz Settings" > "Install" > "Local Data Folder"

The data folder is where all the content is installed. The path above needs to point to it where ever it is. You can move and rename the folder as long as you point TRS22 to it. You'll need do a restart, then look at the path again and make sure it is right. You should retain all your content.
