Transfer to Virgin

I'm shortly moving to a new house. Currently, I use BT Broadband. The house I am moving to doesn't have a BT line, so I am planning to use Virgin, for phone and cable broadband.

I have 2 computers, both of which I use for Trainz, and they are linked with Devolo Homeplugs which transfer data through the house wiring system.

Can someone please tell me whether Virgin cable broadband uses ethernet connections to a computer. If not, what do they use?

Hi Ian,

If you go for the Virgin L or XL pack you will get a free Wireless router from Virgin.

You can plug an ethernet cable into the router.

Also the modem wires into the router via a ethernet cable so it can be done that way also.
