Transfer to new computer

Am getting a new computer in a few days. How do you safely transfer trainz download & custom content ? Am also going to install a new copy of TRS06 ( old one near to end of life) & want to transfer all my old 06 content to the new copy. Thanks...

What you do is copy the local folder and save it to an external device (like an external hard drive) then put it on your new computer. Then either replace the copied local folder with the local folder on your new computer, or import the local folder into CMP and commit.

Thanks Robby .My local folder is about 6 gig. I have registerd the new copy of 06 with auran so when i transfer the folder will i still have the same KUID number ?

Look in your Trainz Folders, in the settings folder, there are actually other settings you can save as well..

Don't forget to "Save/Copy" any saved 'sessions' that you may have in your "Sessions" directory. eg; D:\TRS2006\Cashe\Sessions - (if D: drive is where you have O6 installed on)...
