Transfer T:ANE To My New Computer?

Is this possible? How? I'm more of a rail fan than a computer geek but I'm trying to become one. If this is the wrong place for this thread, please enlighten me.

Why not just re-install it on the new computer? If you haven't made too many changes, new downloads, new routes, sessions, etc.
It is possible to move an installation but you have to get all the pieces correctly placed for it all to work. Easier to let the installer worry about putting everything in its proper place.

Thanks for the reply. Really part of the same question. This was a digital download. So I'll just use the credentials that were emailed to me after my purchase which, of course, I archived.

With this being a new install, I recommend putting your T:ANE data files, the stuff from your routes, and DLS stuff, in an a location other than the Users/login/App Data/Local/N3V/TANE/Build xxxxx.

I, for example, put mine on my F: drive in F:\TANE_Data. If you only have a single drive, place it in C:\TANE_DATA.

The reason for this is it makes it a lot easier to find stuff if you need to edit content as well as backing up the folder.

Having the data on a second hard drive is the best solution because if you ever need to reinstall the OS, you'll be able to just reinstall the application again and repoint to the existing data folder.
