What height is the pantograph set at? I assume it matches Andi06's CAT-64 track, but I'm not certain. Will be downloading [if freeware] when you get that front bogey to point the same way as the one at the rear. ;) At the moment it's a little off the rail. Maybe it's just an illusion, I don't know...

Michael - I know it's cheeky, but... is there any chance of customisable destination signs using the same metod as Motorman's trams? ;)

If you use the same system, then anyone's destination signs should work with it... Motorman posted a detailed tutorial a month or two back.

I've finally also completed my Westhaven Destination Sign Textures. I'd like one or two people to check it out before I upload, just to make sure it all works. Note that I have two signs for High Street, but they display different route numbers. Drop me a line if you'd like to beta test.

I was planning on skinning one of Motorman's brisbane cars as an experiment to see how well you could customise them, and then with his permission (crucial potential stopping block) create some for Westhaven.
It is the exam season though (see sig ;)), so this is a backburner project; however I am interested in the result of this project.

If testing is a simple task or editing config references, then I could help; although be warned it is low priority compared to revision and I may not be the best choice of beta tester as a consequence.

PS Westhaven 7 is still coming soon ;) I'm still not quite happy with it, but I'll get there.

Tomorrow I should be able to upload my version of the Westhaven Destinations for the Brisbane cars ....

There must be a big thanks to Motorman1066 and Paul May Before I continue.

These are straignt texture replacements and not done using the method that Motorman1066 describes in his tutorial so there not perect but I think there ok, Paul and Motorman have seen them and said to release them, Paul is also of thinking of releasing some but not sure witch way he plans on doing his.

There is a 3 of Motorman orginals at the bottom of the roll for Reserved, Excursion and Special.

The Ones I added Are
00 Headland Rd Dpt
01 Westhaven Stn
02 Westhaven Pt
03 City - Hardly Sq via Nicola St (Last part in 3 lines)
04 City - High St
05 Headland Rd
06 Jacobs Sq
07 Penfolds Cv

The userlined ones are Half size and Raised inline with top of others

To use them you will have to modify the session to change the destinations usinng the change destination rule, Sorry using a Modified Low poly version of the map for myself so can't create one for you

I was going to wait until I had my new session ready before I released mine, but the textures are practically ready now. I've got about 20 destinations in total, including every stop on the route that could be used as a terminus, a handful of Motorman's originals (Reserved, Excursion etc). I've also added a couple of completely random names that some people might find useful... I've coded the routes 01 to 04 for the legitimate Westhaven destinations (01 for Penfolds Cove line, 02 for Westhaven Point, 03 for the Station, and 04 for the City Loop).

I need to do a bit more testing, then I'll upload...

Hi all,

I've been playing with the Brisbane trams, and found that the dropcentres can't quite handle some of the tight corners on my own layout - how do they fare on Westhaven? Naturally, if they don't fit then I can't really do a skin for them - it'd be wasted. They are graceful machines though, and they are marvellous along the sweeping high speed sections of my tramway (this is all relative though, you understand). I might try a little realignment to fit them in.

The baby dreadnoughts however - it's their ideal terratory. Steep climbs and tight corners.

I've seen how the destination textures are selected as well, so in conclusion - Motorman1066, you should have mail shortly. :)

I'll upload Westhaven 7 shortly as well, and it may be ready on Monday or tuesday.

Hi

I have been running the older liverys on the line ok, I think they fit ok

My logic is that they started as the open ended car then enclosed cab added due to driver complaints, some time after the the cream was added across the windows and then finally modernized by changing the darker color for a red. making then red and cream.

Paul All I'm getting is a Square box with RWI.Pl in it, any idears?

It was working yesterday, but I suspect the whole site's gone (take a look at the image you linked from their site).
 
Westhaven 7 has finally left the tramsheds today (about time too really, but I've been busy), along with a custom blue-themed interior.

For some reason, there have been more attempts to download the interior than the tram itself - could someone explain that to me?!?

Finally, Motorman1066 has asked me not to create reskins using his models, so these will not be released to you.

Well it must be down as all I still get is a white screen and a box in the middle with the address but no way of getting in to it.
