The Forum search engine is a great thing. There are a bucket load of threads on this exact subject - this one is one of the best....

The line: -freeintcam is great for free roaming about the cab, and even outside the cab.

And -surveyorfov= (adjustable 55 up to 185) is handy when wishing for a temporary wide angle fish eye view, to get the big picture (when laying track). I constantly change the numerals between =55, and up to =185.

The line: -enablerailjointsound can be set to "disable"

I have my PC screen display running at maximum resolution 1440x900.
I have my TRS2006/Options/Display setting at 1280x800, this allows me to surf the web in windowed mode, while I am runing Trainz (handy when viewing Google Earth/Maptech/Topo's...etc...)
I can either set the TRS2006/Options/Display setting at 1440x900, or edit the line: -windowed to read -fullscreen to disable windowed mode.
I have my TRS2006 Desktop Icon Properties/run as administrator/maximized screen.

Keep a hndwritten logbook where you can write down of all your important stuff, just in case things get all messed up, and you want to revert to normal.

This is what I use with my system (see at bottom). I don't know if it "right" but it works for me. I believe those lines without a - in front are disabled.
