Trainzmap can work with TS2009. Copy TS2009.exe to a different location, rename it TRS2006, copy it back and start Trainzmap. Point Trainzmap at your TS2009 directory and away she goes.

There was some discussion on this point back in May but the verdict is not yet fully in.

But the author made the following observation...

"NOTE: It seems that any TS2009 map with 5m grids can't be read by trainzMap, it can only display route maps of those routes that are TRS2006 compatible [no 5m grids]."

I am using TS2009 with latest build 40040.

TrainzMap does not work for me. After scanning the TS2009 files it identifies correctly the routes I have. When I try to open one I get the message 'Invalid or not supported file format'.

Any one else see this and if so how do you work around the issue?
