when im working on my layout when I go to save it comes up a error saying cant save must do it in cmp what does that mean and how can I fix it because its not saving my work

I tend to ignore it and go to 'save as' using same name. Usually resolves it. But I'm guessing someone will say its because your not running it as administrator.

Ok then, it's probably because your not running as admin.

Ok do a QDR (quick database repair) in CM. That may help. Otherwise change the properties on the icon that you use to launch the program and set it so that it launches as administrator. Sorry just had to put that in Personally I dont use admin unless I have to but some folk cant run the game properly at all without it so its horses for courses Im afraid.

If installed in the default location c:/windows/program x86 (whatever it's called) that's when run as admin is needed.
In it's own folder for eg C:/TS12 you'll have no issues.

This is an occasional problem I have found since upgrading from 49922 to the latest version (SP1 HF4). Solution is to "Save As..." as already pointed out. TS12 being run here as administrator and the N3V folders are all read/write with correct permissions attached. Looks like something slipped a link in the code with SP1 or one of its hotfixes.
