Trainz12 and Razorback Classic

I have Trainz 12 and have been trying to download Razorback Classic. Everytime I try to download the file (around 62MB) the download from the DLS stops around 50%. The download rate drops to 0.0 and will never complete. If I drop out of Content Manager and start again the same process occurs. The download starts then stops at just under 1/2 way.
I have tried this hald a dozen times with the same effect.

If I drag another file over to the download section it will download but the Razorback Classic route still stalls. Therefore it is not a download limit problem.

I then tried installing Trainz2006 to get the route (it is one of the built-in routes) but I cannot export it since it is built-in content.

Any ideas on:
1) How I can install the route (can't seem to find it on Razorbackrailways)
2) why CM will not download it?

thanks in advance,
David

Maybe that is why CM is choking on the file. Seems strange thogh.

I tried cloning the file in Trainz 2006 and then export it (.CDP). I then imported it to Trainz 12. This worked and I could run the route, so there is fundamentally nothing wrong with the route that causes T12 to crash. The trouble with this technique is that the KUID changes and therefore sessions etc. will not work.

There does not appear to be a way to alter the KUID.

David.

I had no problem downloading the route directly into TS12 using CMP 3.6. So far it works like a charm (at least what I can tell from having driven one train, just to explore the route). It seems that there must have been a major earthquake at Altoona - the rails there look a bit strange, but they work.

I tried to correct the railwork at Altona (yes one O is what is in the present version) and could not remove the artifacts. Will have to live with it.
You have to try your best when writing an SCS scenario because TrainzMap has a problem with this route. However, one can write an SCS scenario and have the route open in Surveyor at the same time (Ctrl-M still works). Just make sure that you close Trainz before writing the Scenario output to Trainz.
