trainz wont start :(

im trying to start trainz and it wont start. I checked task manager and it shows that Trainz.exe and Launcher.exe are both running at the same time. Is this supposed to happen? If not does anybody know why it is not starting or if there is a way to fix it?

I have trs2006, a nvidia card pny(not sure what number) and its desktop, windows xp.

When you first hit the shortcut and open the splash screen Launcher.exe should come up. When you hit Start on the screen the Launcher.exe should disapear from Task Manager and Trainz.exe will replace it.

Thats what should happen. Sometime Launcher.exe fails to end causing Trainz to not load. Simply go into Task Manager and End Process for Launcher.exe after exiting Trainz then retry opening Trainz, should work now. Thats what I have discovered after a bit of research and tests. :wave:
