Trainz Slow after 43434 Patch

Having updated from the download version (42203) to 43434 SP3, everything seems to be a lot slower. CMP takes ages to apply any filter, it takes a lot longer to open routes, when Trainz does that 'database update' it takes over an hour, as opposed to the 15 mins it used to take.

My machine is running Windows 7 (64-bit), on an Intel Core i5 processor 4CPUs @ 2.27GHz, 4GB RAM, Graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470.

Allow a few minutes for TadDaemon to finish it's clearing up before shutting down the PC and you should avoid the database update on every launch.
You can watch it in task manager or run the developer options and wait for the Exiting message.
It should get a lot quicker the more you use it by the way. If TadDaemon does freeze, that is it sits on your screen doing nothing for longer say than five minutes, then click in the Dos box to give it focus and type ctrl + C, that will shut it down cleanly.

Thanks for that. It's true today it's running a lot faster actually. I wasn't too sure. I'll try and give TADDaemon longer to shut down before switching off my PC, to stop the asset update every time.
