What beautiful sky boxes, such a shame trainz still uses the flat ones.

the credits go to me, malman09, thebrainz, and impoche for finding out how to do it and for me reaching out to him and figuring out how to do it after he exported the model into trainz
Dave, they are a building asset. Just click on the ground to place the asset and ctrl-z to remove it before trying another one. They will work better on small routes as it places a large sphere on the route with a sky image inside it.Don't understand how you're supposed to use these in Trainz 19. . . .
Place them down on the ground from the Buildings tab, and turn your draw distance all the way up, or else you won't see them. It's essentially a giant dome that covers over the default Trainz skybox.Don't understand how you're supposed to use these in Trainz 19. . . .
Yes, but a fair bit smallerAre these different than the ones previously posted?
ah yes i see now, would be better for a moduleYes, but a fair bit smaller
20km for the MalMan ones, which is enough to cover a 15km view distance from the loco. For large routes they would be better used as a load on a consist, so they move with the train. What is the radius of the sphere?
i love these.
