Trainz on new pc

Hi,

I have moved my sons Trainz 2006 from one PC to another. Everytime I try to download from Content Manager, I get an error message and CM closes down. As far as I can see, it has something to do with a conflict between the operating system (Win XP pro) in the new machine, which contains the digital product ID and my IP-address (which pobably is different from the one in the old PC. I am not an expert in these matters.
Any suggestions on what to do?

Hmmm..."moved", that conjures up visions of not really installing, just moving the files? I hope I'm wrong. I would uninstall, and then do a registry clean with CCleaner (freeware at CNET or filehippo), then reinstall. Back up the "local" folder if he has downloaded content.:)
 
I properly reinstalled TS2006 and SP1 on the "new" computer, but I didn't clean up in the registry before. I'll give it a try.
