Didn't go on trainz for a week and found 586 updates, its actually disgraceful, the only way to deal with that lot is to get an FCT and I can't afford at the moment. Any other company would regulate the amount of third party updates released over a period of time.

Change the updates to 8,051 and that's what I have to deal with.
EDIT: Just remembered, when I download from the DLS via FTP, I'm able to download TWO things at the same time. You may be able to also download via Content Manager while downloading via FTP.

Strangely, I usually only have 10 at most ready for updates. A lot of times they are installed with a Database Repair. Odd.

I don't have SP1 installed, so that can be the reason why you have only 10.

I wonder how much it will take with my FCT

Just a few hours. Let's say half a day max assuming you do not live in Africa or are still using a dail-up connection.
Last few times I was in Poland (Warsaw, Wroclaw, Krakow) the internet connection was pretty decent.

My average download speed here is about 80KBs/ps. It sucks. Studies show that Alaska is the only U.S. owned Territory that has WORSE internet than Kentucky.

With an FCT mine is about 700KB/s. Although it might have something to do with switching from DirecTV to Comcast.

I have an FCT. It only increases to whatever amount your connection can handle. 80 KB/ps is my average in or outside the Trainz world.

T:ANE is not even released until May, and probably will be made more perfect in late 2015, 2016 ... through many, many SP's that squash bugz ... Remember it is like designing Trainz from the ground up ... Starting all over again from scratch ... Just like the first Trainz version was difficult to produce (Pre Service Pack 3) ... it was no easy task.

If N3V didn't have a large community of helpful Beta people helping test out T:ANE CE ... You probably wouldn't have T:ANE until 2016
