Yes it was.

This is where it started. Trainz was still running and I pressed the windows button to go to the desktop. I wnated to see if I could open CMP while Trainz was still running (dumb I know). I opened up the launcher, and there it was. The error message.

I believe herein lies your problem. I think you've corrupted something by trying to run CMP at the same time as Trainz, and as a result a critical file has been munged.

Since Trainz worked previously until you did this, I would recommend backing up your Local folder and reinstalling Trainz again. You can then use CMP to import your data again.

Just remember to NOT run CMP and Trainz at the same time! ;)

This is what I recommeneded...

To import your local data, Start up CMP, open up the File, and choose import files. You need to browse to the folder where you saved your stuff in. This will take awhile to do, your screen may appear frozen. Go do something else like eat, go out somewhere, or even take nap. When everything is imported, there will be a dialog box about the import process completing successfully. Close this one. The next step is to commit the assets. Select all the assets in the Open for edit Tab window. (CTRL-A on keyboard). Then commit using the menu Edit-Commit, or CTRL-M. This can take some time also.

Once it's done, your content will be reinstalled into Trainz and ready to use.

click the start buton then click help and support. Under pick a task you will find system restore. you can follow the instructions to choose a date when you earlier opened windows. this will restore system and registry to that point. It sometimes will clear some errors.

KK thanks a bunch.

NOTE: Before Trainz Crashed MSTS wasn't installed. Will restoring it mess up MSTS?
