TRAINZ HAS FAILED!

That wouldn't surprise me, as it doesn't actually say it's rolling back (it simply says 'Cancelling patch process...'). From previous programming expeditions of mine, I did manage to have a program made in VB.NET (or possibly VB6) that prevented users from shutting down or force-closing the program until the process was complete.

So it's magically N3V's fault if the user cancels a patch? Please try not to throw around false statements.

As others have said, the only way to fix this is a reinstall after saving the userdata file elsewhere.

Good point. It's not NV3 who says "Go on, cancel the patch"' it's me.

Userdata folder copied elsewhere, should i copy it back into the Trainz folder once I've reinstalled Trainz?(Also should I de tele what will be the new userdata folder?)

Don't copy the folder contents back. If you do, Trainz will have no knowledge if them!

Open the content manager and use the "import content" option; then browse to the saved folder and use OK.

That will correctly import the contents
