Trainz graphic engine in World of Tanks game?

I play "World of Tanks" fps and the scenery looks a lot like it might be made with Trainz somehow. The swaying tree and grass looks just like Trainz. Just wondering.

I've played WOT and I see what you mean but no, they are two completely different engines.

As far as I know, WOT was made using the Big World MMO technology. Trainz has its own engine.

Big World uses specific files that are brought together in a database and shown on the game map. Trainz uses a slightly different method by having each object have its own script and placed inside a .cdp file. That is then brought together and allowed to interact with other assets in the game world.

Nice comparison though. ;)

 N3V Auran Trainz uses the Auran Jet Engine and the application would so note this on the packaging with a trademark and icon.
