I just recieved a copy of Trainz Collection with the intent of installing just TRS 2004 as I have heard it is better than TRS 2006. But the install won't let me, and loads TRS 2006 instead. Any Suggestions?

My suggestion is to use TRS06 because it is a later version then TRS2004. When handled correctly the simulator doesn't cause problems.

I'll give it another try. I have always had pretty good luck with the TRS2006 Program, and haven't experienced all the horror stories you read here. I just wish more of the old TRS 2004 content would work as there is tons of it & it matches the region I live in. Have you any advice on the Marias Pass add on from HP-Trainz?

I don't have the Marias Pass route.

TRS2006 will work with most items imported from TRS2004. Just make sure that you check in CMP for faulty items. Fix those items and I am pretty sure you will hardly run into any problems with either CMP or TRS2006
