soo i moved my trainz route to another operating computer that also has trainz2010

and i went back to the old system and copied all the dependencies that would make up that route and i put it into cdp and then all the dependency were all put into 1 cdp (icon)
later i went to import the CDP to the new trainz on the new system on content manager and it showed and error

this is what it said?

Error: Unable to open CDP file 'C:\Users\myusername\Desktop\Toronto Rail Content.cdp' for reading

and now my trainz route is left missing tons of dependencies.:'(

You may have exceeded the allowable size of a cdp file if you tried to save everything in the one file.

Peter might be right on this. I think the maximum size is around 2GB for a CDP file.

You might want to put the route and sessions in 1 CDP and the other content in another.

Yes, I reckon that is right.

So the cdp file that you have at 1.43GB may be corrupted.

I suspect archive files may have a similar limit.

One of the problems for us being the asset data files are compressed as the cdp is built so it's a bit hard to know how much will filt into one.

I seem to remember that earlier versions of Trainz choked on CDP files higher than 512MB.

CMPA files, to my knowledge, can be up to 2GB.
