Hi Everyone,
Where i live, Southeast queensland Australia there is an escarpment called the border ranges that follows the border line of Queensland and New south wales. These mountains are by no comparison when put against real mountains out side of Australia, where here they rise to just over 1 KM in Height. My method of making mountains in trains is to use grey scale tools to create mountains,, then i use the flatten tool in surveyor to shape the slopes to what for me is the only way i can create large escarpments.
I was wondering if other users had methods to create smooth slopes on very high mountains so that the slopes are realistic?. The Grey scale tools are limited by area to the point that one cant create single Dramatic mountains to set altitudes. I have strugled to use Dem's to create routes, so i hope there is another way to shape High mountains within Surveyor?.
EMU's
For me in trainz, i like to create modern routes instead of Historic routes and use EMU's (Photographs) on my Routes. The Default Auran Electric Engine sound is not realistic since i have heard amazing sounds of Electric trains on youtube Video's. Can some one point me in the right direction for EMU assests with realistic Engine Sounds payware or free is ok!.
Thankyou all for reading

FOR N3V DEVELOPERS: I have found a bug in Hanshin Emu's sound assets, it gives a very loud squealing sound and the only way to fix this is to replace the Sound asset with something else. see asset below.
