Ok! On My Trainz, scroll down to Product Downloads and download Trainz Plus
If you download TRS22 it will NOT have the Trainz Plus features as it it stated on the downloads page for TRS22, more information is also available on the TRS19 downloads page

Again, make sure that you download Trainz Plus if you wish to use Trainz Plus and it's features
EDIT: Trainz Plus is TRS22 PE

TRS22 PE is not Trainz Plus.

PE does not have the capabilities to create real HD Terrain but can load it. If you try to edit an HD terrain route, it'll convert to a 5m grid.

Plus also has access to betas and other assets that TRS22 and TRS22 PE do not, not counting that Plus is a subscription-based product.

Ah! I have assumed that Trainz Plus is TRS22 PE because of Surveyor 2.0. Thanks for the correction mate

I have both Trainz Plus and TRS22PE.

Both run exactly the same routes and sessions. I use Trainz Plus to create routes and sessions which I test on TRS22PE. My install of TRS22PE does not have any installed DLC or 3rd party routes or assets - it has built-in, DLS and my assets only.

The interfaces (apart from a few minor differences) are identical. Both Trainz Plus and TRS22PE have Surveyor 2.0 as well as Surveyor Classic.
  • Trainz Plus has the TLR (Trainz Living Railroad) feature, which is still under development. TRS22PE does not have TLR.
  • Both Trainz Plus and TRS22PE (and TRS22) have Multiplayer Surveyor but Trainz Plus has the more advanced version.
  • Trainz Plus can create and display HD terrain with a brush resolution down to 12cm (for both ground heights and ground textures). TRS22PE can load HD routes but the terrain (and its textures) will be "downgraded" to 5m resolution.

Just to add a bit more detail on MPS, Trainz Plus users can created and manage their own MPS routes. They can make their route private and only allow invited guests to access it and work on it with them. Interestingly, if a user with Trainz Plus invites a TRS22 PE user to work on their route with them. The TRS22 PE user has full access to all MPS features while logged in to that route.

TRS22 users are limited to a selection of routes chosen by N3V that they can login to and edit. But since those routes are open to everyone, there is no protection from someone trashing your work. You have lower priority on the server so if the server load is high then you are booted from the server first.
