Trainz 12 Multiplayer Help

I don't seem to have any of the multiplayer based stuff that I'm supposed to have. There's no multiplayer button so I can't start a multiplayer session and when I go to join a multiplayer session it says access denied!!!!! WTF!?!?!?!?

Did you solve this? I have the same problem... It says "You do not have access to Trainz Multiplayer. Please check you Planet Auran account and ensure your multiplayer subscription".
 
I have no multiplayer sessions at all, and i cant connect to the trainz server. Isnt the multiplayer suposed to come with trainz 12
 
theres a multiplayer session in the routes section, "Debrecen-Nyiregyhaza", theres a session in there, but i have no idea to get people to join it, or even if its possible. i load up the session and it constantly tryes to connect to Auran, but it never can:( . im guessing thats the problem there.. that might be the joining thing that allows other people to see it.

Just tried that aswell..

Just keeps saying "trying to connect" but nothing happens.. :o
Same with the chat..

Are we victims to false advertisment ?
 
yea, but still, shouldnt they own the servers rather than rent them? their selling a train simulator game with a multiplayer option, and so far all iv seen, that has anything to do with multiplayer in these forums, is the fact that it doesnt work and that its pretty much new maps for the 2010 game.
 
Yeah they should, but shouldn't everyone be driving Aston Martins and Ferraris?? Why not?? $$ Same for servers. Auran/N3V isn't Microsoft, and can't afford an entire server!!

some times the servers will be up and then go down.... then back up,,,
there only one built in routefro 12 all the others you will have to d/l...
 
so.. what times r the servers up? is it written down somewhere, and if so, what maps does it allow and where can i download the rest, i wanna make sure i can play online before i even start those downloads, which is bad since the only multiplayer map is the one i mentioned before (Debrecen - Nyiregyhaza) still its a little annoying how this is the only one i have and it doesnt work to its promises..:(

I just bought it today and took half of my day to download it. Did the tutorials and was ready to get some multiplayer action going only to find out that only one map has multiplayer and the server is down.
 
i was basically the same, other than the tutorials, judging by the pictures its the same as 2010, so its pointless to redo it. and yea no multi open servers on a supposed multiplayer server that you can only do SP in is crap.
 
One of the major pro's that Trainz has is the ability to create whatever you want to. During the beta period, many people turned any map and session from the DLS into MP versions. There are countless maps and sessions available to use or you can create your own, it's really not that hard so give it a try. :wave:
