One thing that might help is to only download files marked as being for 2009/2010 (or earlier years)- thats what I had to resort to with my Steam version of Tz2012 since the Steam version cannot be patched at this time and therefore most of the 2012 content on DLS isn't useable. In the end I bought another digital copy but this time from Auran/NV3 store so I could use the 2012 stuff available on DLS as well as enjoy the MP aspects of the sim. Why did I buy the Steam version in the first place? The process for me was this; having become somewhat disillusioned with RW3/Trainsimulator2012 I started looking at Trainz 2012 (I had a Steamised copy of 2010 but it rarely saw the light of day because my sim time was spent in RW2/3 so I didn't realise it too wasn't patchable) and bought a copy from Valve not realising it wasn't patchable at this time, then I came here looking for answers...kind of a chicken/egg thing.
