Traffic not moving

I have recently installed Trainz 2009 but have found that I have no moving traffic on the roads. I have even been into surveyor and used the toggle traffic but to no avail. Can anybody direct me on what I can do

My perspective is informed by the fact that I am creating some routes which will have some "roads" upon which there could be traffic, but which are used so infrequently that no traffic will ordinarily be present, and the traffic feature will be turned off. Kind of a general answer, but since I don't see what route you are running, it's hard to offer anything more precise.

Its on all the roads I have tried to lay. With Trainz 2006 once you had laid a piece of road the traffic would run with this one it does not

I think its only on some roads, such as Road USA.

To make carz drive on the right, you can add the tag:
ontheright 1
to the config.txt file in your region kuid.
