Not sure if this has already been put forward in another thread, so apologies if it has...
I'm interested in creating content for Trainz using Blender. I've already got a few ideas down for station designs as well as a complete Elevated system (track, matching support beams, stations that actually look like they belong and maybe some decent-looking switching points)...
However, being a total and utter novice at content creation I have no idea how to make track splines - I wanna be able to create straight pieces as well as spline-track that curves nicely and doesn't look like straight pieces forced into a curve.
I know how to build the stations, but adding the fixed section of track to them, along with connection points at either end I have no clue about.
Are there any decent tutorials out there yet on creating stations / tracks with Blender? I've followed the tutorial on how to build a train, but that doesn't touch attachment points or anything related to the actual track..
Any help would be most graciously accepted, and you're kindness will be rewarded in turn
