Track markers problem in TS2010

Just wondering about an issue with the trackmarkers in trainz2010. When I issue a command to tell a locomotive to stop at a marker on a track why does it stop short of the marker. As I remember the locomotive would stop practically on the track marker. I don't know if the arrow pointing in any direction makes any differance. Can anyone explain how this works? Thanks.:'(

You need to reduce the spline radius/diameter. This will make them stop closer to the centre.
