Hello all - I'm sorry - I don't know you're actual names haha


My name is Neil Smith, and I'm the creator of the UMR2015 route. I've finally taken the plunge and bought T:ANE.
After all the importing of assets, I have a grand total of 68 faulty assets in the route.


Most are small, scenery items, but a few are pretty much crucial to me being able to make the route T:ANE-ready. There are 5 textures and 1 track that I've used extensively.
When it comes to correcting problems with kuids, my skills are pretty limited.
I was wondering if you'd be able to look at these assets, and, if possible, make any changes and re-submit them to the dls? If I can get these 6 items updated to T:ANE qualifications, the rest of the faulty assets should be easy to replace, and we can all have another error-free route in T:ANE.
It would be a huge help, and I would be eternally grateful!

You probably won't need their assistance on that. Try re-downloading the affected items or use PEV's Images2TGA tool (or in the case of the .tga/.texture issues, see my guide over on trainztutorials.com).

Thanks for the reply Shane! The only problem with that is, even if it gets fixed on my machine, the offending kuids are still faulty on everyone else's computers. That's why I'm hoping to get the creator's to re-submit corrected versions, so everyone can get the updated kuids.

I'd do it myself, but without permission, it's not my place to correct and re-submit other people's work.

Got my fingers crossed that enough people will see this!

Hopefully, although for your own use it may help out. Incidentally though, the .texture errors usually only seem to crop up with built-ins copied over from TS12 and re-downloading the assets normally fixes the problem if the asset is available on the Download Station.
