Started on a tims bulding. Thought I'd show the initial stages.. Roof and sidewalk are textured. Need to get some brick and windows and doors. Will probably also make the parking lot and drive through...

Thank you so much for making this essential Canadian component.:D

I have even seen these in New York State particularly in Buffalo so even the US is being invaded by the "Timmies". They should have a Tim Hortons kiosk in every major rail yard-lol; but that is a debate for another time.:hehe:

Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays

I live in Buffalo and let me tell you.....every block or 2 there's one. There all over the place. Hell for traffic and crashes. This is long awaited though....looks good.

Well im happy to get the idea for it. I just hope I can get the texturing done properly... I will keep y'all up to date as it progresses.

Merry Christmas to y'all as well!

Well texturing is going a little better than I thought. Here it is so far on this early christmas morning : )

These would go well placed nearby:

Robby, you said you were going to make a parking lot. I have a suggestion, though. Maybe you could create it as a kit with a seperate sign. That would make for easier placement in different spots.

So funny, I was just looking for a Timmys today, and couldn't find one, then , bang, you are creating one, good stuff!!! My world needs some french vanilla capachino !!!:udrool:

yup those billboards will match up perfectly for sure... so for the parking lot suggestion.. do you mean making a separate object for it and then separate signs so people with different street layouts can customize?

Something like that. A seperate sign, but the parking lot would be optional.

BTW, is there going to be a nightmode?

Wow-that is so life like! Very Very nice.

I have to advise you of the potential problem with people not wanting to do business with Timmies without the drive through-lmao.:hehe:

Wow Robby! You are becoming the gMax master!

Looks great! Keep up the good work!

thanks! not quite the master yet but it looks pretty cool for sure:) . working on night mode right now and then i guess ill put in a drive through...

Here is a day and night shot... excuse the night sing.. tried to minimize poly count by using a plane for the sign area but it kinda shows in night mode... suggestions anyone?

The model looks great, and there's nothing wrong with the method you used to create the night-mode sign. The only thing you need to do is create an alpha-channel for the plane, so that everything but the "Tim Hortons" text is invisable. Then it should work perfectly.
